Nexus mod manager download freeze

I installed Oblivion, started up Nexus Mod Manager, and there was a list of a ton of mods i used a few years ago for it. I started deleting them one by one because i wanted to start fresh. Eventually i hit a mod that when i highlighted it, it froze NMM and i couldn't do anything but shut it down from task manager and try starting it back up.
